The Perfect Eyeliner

I've tried all kinds of liquid eyeliners. Each and every time I hope it'll be the one that will give me that perfect look I hope for and they I always fail. Every. single. time.

You know what I mean, I always hoped for it to look at least a little like this:

The other night on a usual late night Walmart run with the boyfriend, I stared at the makeup isles for quite some time. I needed my regular powder since mine was out and I knew I needed more eyeliner and almost bought another tube of my usual Almay eyeliner in black-brown since it's never failed me. Then I came across Revlon's Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen. The little brush liquid liners were the ones that I could never get the hang of, but this clearly said pen, so maybe...just maybe...it would really work? I put my faithful Almay back and decided to give the Revlon Pen a chance, doubting my choice all the way to checkout.

When I got home I opened up the new liner and gave it a go. It was so quick, easy, and flawless. I'm sold. I couldn't be happier that I've found a liquid liner that is actually easy to apply. The pen is felt so it's more steady than the little brushes in the usual liquid eyeliners. This stuff is around $7, but when you're buying liner (even in Walmart) that's about average - and totally worth every penny. So if you're looking for a new liner, give this a try! You just might love it!

Bows, Bows, Bows!

I made a bunch of bows the other day and here they are! If you're interested in buying one, they are $5 each. I will not be adding these to Etsy this time around but I do still accept Paypal, so orders are welcome! Just send me an email by either using the link at the top of my blog or you can send one to Owlive (at) hotmail (dot) com. Don't forget to include the bow number so I know which ones you want. I can also make matching button earrings for any of these bows, just ask! Earrings are also $5 per pair. Each bow roughly measure 2.5 x 4 inches and include an alligator clip on the back.

It's a Revolution!

Dudes, you probably don't want to read this.
Ladies, you should totally read this.

I heard about the DivaCup a few years ago and wondered if it was worth it. I finally decided to order one last week to see if it would work for me. The DivaCup is an alternative to tampons and pads. If you've never heard of one, there is tons of info on their website. When I heard that I could leave this in for up to 12 hours with no risks or problems, I was sold. No more carrying around tampons in my purse, no more fears of TSS, no more running to the store at the last minute when I've ran out of products, no more throwing away tons of money each month, no more being uncomfortable. I've been using my DivaCup for two days now. I am so happy with it! It was kind of intimidating at first but I've already gotten pretty comfortable using it. Not much different than learning to use tampons, actually.

You can read tons of reviews on Amazon. You won't find many negative reviews but you will see tons of ladies who have been committed to the DivaCup for years and won't go back.

I purchased mine from Lunapads.com but I believe they are a bit cheaper on Amazon.

Basically what I'm saying is... do yourself a favor and buy one. Save money, your body, and the environment!

I didn't want to go too into detail on here but if you have any questions at all about it, don't be embarrassed to ask & feel free to send me a Facebook message or an email:
